For example, and without limitation, we may use data like HappyMeter rates to publish interesting observations for informational or marketing purposes. HappyMeter will anonymize such data such that neither users nor Subscribing Organizations are identified.
When you contact HappyMeter, we keep a record of your communication to help solve any issues you might be facing. We may use your email address to inform you about our services, such as letting you know about upcoming changes or improvements.
We do not share personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of Happymeter unless one of the following circumstances applies:

We may also share non-personally identifiable data submitted by Users publicly and with our partners or use it to create and provide new services, features or content. For example, and without limitation, we may use data like employee trends rates to publish interesting observations for informational or marketing purposes. We will anonymize such data such that neither users nor Subscribing Organizations are identified.
Information that we collect from our users, including Personally identifiable information, is considered to be a business asset. Thus, if we are acquired by a third party as a result of a transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale or if our assets are acquired by a third party in the event we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, some or all of our assets, including your Personally identifiable information, may be disclosed or transferred to a third party acquirer in connection with the transaction. In the event of such a transaction, we will give you notice of the transaction and the opportunity for a period of 30 days to refuse disclosure or transfer of your personally identifiable information to the third party acquirer in connection with the transaction.
We work hard to protect HappyMeter users from information security risks. No security system is impenetrable and we cannot guarantee the security of our systems 100%. In the event that any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps, in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.
At HappyMeter, we restrict access to personal information to authorized HappyMeter employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to process it for us, and who are subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations and may be disciplined or terminated if they fail to meet these obligations.
HappyMeter’s website and services are intended for use strictly by adults. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 18. If we learn that any personal information has been collected from a child under 18, we will delete the information as soon as possible and block the user from future responses.
